Transitional Spring Outfits

Springtime can be tricky, especially if you live in cold-weather climes.  It can be, frankly, a very awkward time to get dressed.  Take some inspiration from the following concepts.

Pair a turtleneck dress with booties and no tights.  This might be the last time you sneak this dress in this season, so get one more wear out of it.  Bonus points for a cold-shoulder turtleneck dress.

Any riff on a white top, blue jeans, and sneakers always works.

This spring’s hot new hue is blush pink.  Paired with a darker denim, an outfit like this one transitions perfectly from winter to spring.

Footwear can be especially tricky in the spring, as weather conditions can vary so from one day to the next.  Suede is usually out until May due to wet and soggy ground conditions, and open-toed booties can be risky in that regard as well.  Wellies and spring go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Paired with a moto jacket or a trench and a knit beanie, this is a perfect spring go-to outfit.
