Trending: Marble Accents

Sure, marble countertops in the kitchen and bath have been trending for some time now.  (To be accurate, Carrara marble has been trending since 17th century Italy).

Carrara marble is the ultimate in sophistication and luxury.  The smooth, white-and-gray leathered texture is swoon-worthy on a kitchen island, a backspash, or a bathroom vanity top.

Oh, my word…this beautiful bowl from Crate and Barrel could work magic in so many areas of your home.  Housing pretty soaps in the bathroom, or as a catch-all for desk supplies in your home office.  Or…as it’s intended use, as a home for fresh fruit in the kitchen.  It would look gorgeous displaying fresh Meyer lemons.
