Flipping over Flip-Flops

Couture flip-flops: is this an oxymoron?  Many associate the “click, claack; click, claack” sound with the beach, with children running around outside in the summertime, or with shower shoes in the gym locker room.   Bottom line: flip-flops are meant to be worn in  casual, easygoing setting, and they should not be the most expensive shoe in your closet.

But check out THESE flip-flops.  The ultimate in luxury.  Would you spend $400 on a pair of flip flops?  Or $600?  Or, would you rather pick some up on your Target run and be done with it?  Take a look, just for fun.

  1. With the warmer weather flip flop are being worn almost exclusively. As a young boy I remember having flip flops that cost a few dollars and lasted for the Summer. It’s no surprise that fashion designers have created flip flops that cost hundreds of dollars. It’s also no surprise people are buying them. In recent years I’ve never been a big fan of flip flop but I do enjoy a cute pair of flat designer sandals. Being a Tory Burch fan I have treated myself to several pair of her TB Miller sandals. Here’s my collection; https://davisbe.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/dsc06158.jpg
