Spring Color Preview: Iced Coffee
As part of our 2016 Spring Color series, we would like to introduce Iced Coffee.
“A transitional color that will take us through the seasons, PANTONE 15-1040 Iced Coffee manifests as another strong neutral for the season. With its natural earthy quality, the softness and subtlety of Iced Coffee creates a stable foundation when combined with the rest of this season’s palette.”
Each year, color designers from Pantone meet and declare what the spring palette will be. These colors will appear in technicolor in all aspects of life for the year. In 2016, Pantone’s color designers searched this year for unisex hues, perhaps in hopes to refute the archaic stereotype that pink is for girls, and blue for boys. Some colors depict an urban landscape, while others are more organic. Iced Coffee is mellow, a little bit sweet, and ubiquitous.
Designers such as Noon by Noor and Daniel Silverstain will be showing Iced Coffee on their runways.
What a classy look for wedding-scapes, particularly an autumnal wedding. This is one wedding color that is timeless…you won’t look back on your wedding photos in ten years and cringe.
Iced Coffee is today’s “it” hue of neutral tan. It has a bit more depth than the 2K beigey-browns, and works its way into any style you may have going in your home.
And…add touches of Iced Coffee to YOUR wardrobe! Chances are…you already have some items which will fit the bill.
