Spring Color Preview: Pantone Fiesta

As part of our 2016 Spring Color series, we would like to introduce Fiesta.

“The high energy PANTONE 17-1564 Fiesta is a harbinger of excitement, encouraging free-spirited exploration to unknown but welcoming locales. A strong and fiery, yellow-based Red, the vivid Fiesta provides a stark contrast to the calming, softer nature of this season’s palette.”

Each year, color designers from Pantone meet and declare what the spring palette will be.  These colors will appear in technicolor in all aspects of life for the year.  In 2016, Pantone’s color designers searched this year for unisex hues, perhaps in hopes to refute the archaic stereotype that pink is for girls, and blue for boys.  Some colors depict an urban landscape, while others are more organic. Fiesta is both urban and organic…an earthy flamenco party, an energetic rose, a hyped-up coral.

Designers such as Pamela Rolland and Malone Souliers will be showing Fiesta on their runways.

Winter weddings will be showing fiesta as a fresh alternative to a deeper Christmas or Valentine red.

Add touches of Fiesta to your home’s landscape via accessories: think pillows, paint, and accent chairs.

And…add touches of Fiesta to YOUR wardrobe!
