How-To: Season Your Space

If you are anything like me, you love to keep your house mimicking the seasons. Even when I’m not outside, I still want my house to feel like fall. And there are so many ways you can do this! I like to buy seasonal scented candles and light them whenever I’m home. Bath & Body Works is my go-to for seasonal candles. This season they have so much different pumpkin-scented ones, and even if you don’t like sweet-scented candles… they have such a variety where some are less potent than others. My favorite B&BW fall candles are definitely Mohogany Teakwood (it smells like an Abercrombie & Fitch store and who doesn’t love that?), Marshallow Fireside, and Leaves. And don’t be fooled by the name, “Leaves.” It doesn’t actually smell like leaves, but it just smells like what autumn feels like: hints of golden nectar, red apple & spiced berries.

Apart from using candles, there are also so many DIY (Do It Yourself) fall room decor ideas you can do! If you go to YouTube and search “DIY fall room decor,” I promise you will be overwhelmed with all of your options. Personally, I love the one that Reese Regan put together this year. She gives you everything from painting pumpkins, to using chalkboard paint, to using sweaters to update your pillow cases. Adorable! Check her out!

I hope I’ve inspired you to get into the autumn spirit! By doing small things here and there to bring fall into your house or room, trust me… you’re never going to want to leave!
