Stitch Fix

School is back in session.  If you are finding yourself short on time to go shopping, Stitch Fix is a great way to fix your clothing needs. The company’s tagline is “your partner in personal style.” Basically what the company operates in three steps: filling out a questionnaire about your personal style (and sizes), getting your things sent to your door, and lastly keeping the things you love and sending the things you don’t want back.

After you fill out the questionnaire, Stitch Fix then asks how often you’d like your “fix.” In other words, how often you would like the stylist at Stitch Fix to find and ship clothing to you. The time varies from 2 weeks to 6 months, or even just once if you are curious and want to test the site out. You can change how often you would like a shipment or cancel your shipment altogether at any time simply by logging in.

If you are worried about the cost of Stitch Fix’s services, worry not. One of the questions is how big your budget is, from “the cheaper, the better” to “$200+”. After you receive your package, you then have three business days to decide what you want to keep and what you don not. What you pay for what you want to keep by logging back in online, and what you do not want you send back in the return bag Stitch Fix provides and drop it off at the nearest post office. The initial cost is $20, and that does go toward to whatever it is you want to purchase. So for example, if you want to keep a cashmere sweater that is $48, you only have to pay $28 instead of $48. Also, if you decide to keep all 5 items they ship to you, you get 25% off your total purchase!

Each fix also comes with some cards that show you what you can style your items with!
