Culottes, also known as Gaucho pants, or wide leg trousers, are making a serious comeback this year, at least on the runway. But the question is: can regular women wear this trend without looking frumpy and dumpy? The jury is still out…but it would be a fun trend to experiment with.
The key to styling culottes is to show some skin above the belt. A pretty top which accentuates the shoulders and arms will help offset the straightness of the culottes.
