Style Files: Spring Break Swimwear

Spring break is in full force and warmer summer weather is not too far behind (hopefully), meaning swimsuit season is definitely upon us! Whether you enjoy it or not, swimsuit shopping is undoubtedly overwhelming. To help cut through the chaos a bit, we’ve provided a roundup of our favorite trends to try this season:

  • Stripes + Retro

What better nod to all things nautical than crisp stripes? To make the look feel fresh, try pairing with a retro, high-waist bottom. Extra coverage, subtle sexiness…what could be better?

  • Slimming One-Piece

It’s not all about the bikini this year, particularly with the stunning array of interesting shapes and cut-outs popping up in a one-piece style. We love this one for the classic shape with updated (and ultra slimming) color blocking. The simulated belt is a fun waist-accentuating touch, too.

  • Printed Bandeau

It wouldn’t be a proper swimsuit list without a nod to Victoria’s Secret, the reigning queen of swimwear. Leopard is always a classic look and the orange accent color provides a fun twist. Plus, the push-up bandeau shape is ultra wearable!

  • Tribal-Inspired Prints

Tribal-inspired everything is huge again this spring and swimwear is no exception! This suit from Maaji features both the bold tribal print, plus the new and very popular long-line shape top. This look provides slightly more coverage than your typical string triangle top, but the appeal is certainly there, especially with the fun back ties.
